ABOUT EPD

Engineered Products Division (EPD) is responsible for providing value added services on all applications of the Z-Blok® module system and related accessories such as Fiberlite™ peep door surrounds and burner blocks, peep door plugs, flue liners, surface coatings for metal and refractory substrates, and HotSeal™ furnace penetration seals. We also select from a broad range of high temperature materials (textiles, refractory fiber blankets, and stainless steel products) to design ReFlex® textile composite products such as flue duct expansion joints, furnace curtains, removable blanket insulation, fireproof enclosures, and freeze protection. EPD must maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and expertise in order to ensure that all our customers receive a refractory/insulation solution that has been properly engineered, manufactured, and installed. If a standard product does not satisfy specific customer requirements, we strive to develop and fabricate one that will.

Thorpe Products Company specializes in fabricating, selling, and distributing industrial insulation and refractory products. We ship out of state and export to any part of the world. With an emphasis on problem solving and custom engineering using a wide variety of high temperature materials, Thorpe is recognized by our customers as a reliable source of solutions to refractory and high temperature insulation problems.

Thorpe Products Company’s primary manufacturing facility is located in Houston, Texas, USA. The entire EPD product line is available from this location. Thorpe also has a sales, marketing, and manufacturing agreement for SuperFold™ and Z-Blok® module systems with Binzagr Factory for Insulation Materials LTD in Saudi Arabia. SuperFold™ is a folded module identical to Thorpe’s
Z-Blok® II.
